BACKGROUND
Back in 2011, at the young age of 19, Kelvin was fortunate enough to pick up investing during his time at Temasek Polytechnic. After graduating, he was offered a place at a local university with full scholarship sponsored by the government.
To the dismay of my friends and family, he gave up the scholarship to pursue a full time job conducting value investing courses and became an analyst working for a fund (AUM USD >$25m) for more than a year. Kelvin left the job in late-April 2018 to become a full-time investor and never looked back.
Now as a full-time investor with over 5 years of experience and mainly focusing on growth investing, he has grown his humble portfolio to be worth well over half a million dollars.
